Leaked Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie firmware

Like the Galaxy S9 firmware, the Milky way Note nine Android Pie firmware comes with a new night and transparent theme for the notification shade, quick toggles, and the Settings app. It's still a work in progress so things look quite half-broiled, but it does show the kind of direction Samsung is taking. The Settings app, for example, gets a black background with white cards for the various setting menus, which will alter to grey when the new Night theme is enabled.

Many of Samsung's native apps, such as Messages and Contacts, are also getting a makeover. The camera app has the different photographic camera modes at the bottom of the screen now, with the AR Emoji and Bixby Vision options moved to the acme. The camera interface is not unlike what nosotros see on the Galaxy A7. For example, there'southward a new button for switching to the telephoto lens for zooming in on a scene. AR Emoji quality has reportedly improved a flake, although that's not totally confirmed at this point.

No word on a beta plan nevertheless

The leaked firmware is for the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy Note 9. At that place are plenty of bugs, which is to be expected at this point in time. The corporeality of changes that Samsung seems to be making suggests that the Pie updates for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Annotation ix will probably non come up out this year, even with Project Treble lending a manus.
